Dearest,
EVERYTHING I OWN SMELLS OF YOU
This project has been created with all my love:
This is me, it’s my lovestory.
Where something beyond and infinite.
Becomes so small in your hands.
You can hold me, use me, abandon me,
Conceal me behind your dreams.
Take me, carry me, wear me.
To lay me down again.
You will smell of me and I’ll belong to you.
It’s you, your lovestory.
Yours truly, madly, deeply,
MariaLux
Yours Truly, MariaL.
I will wait for you for a 1000 years
The sense of infinite eternal love, engagement, marriage, diamonds are forever, the –white– bouquet, the prince on the –white- horse, until death do us part… The love every woman wishes for. It’s an idealized love, it somewhere, sometime, will carry and embrace the little dark horse. It is romantic love, may it be true. This woman in love is very attractive as we all wish to been seen with her eyes and embraced by her love and dedication. However she is not yours as she belongs to him. We wish to be her and we wish to be him.

Oh lover, make me yours again
The sense of veiled love, the love of lovers. A love full of passion, lightness, as it carries no responsibility. It’s the meeting between a mistress, maybe a courtesan, and her gentleman. Love as a gesture. In order to live this folly majestically, one needs elegance and character, secrecy is a value.
This woman lover is very attractive as she is a complete mystery, she is not yours nor do you know to whom she belongs. She’s seems to be untouchable and free. We wish to be her as we wish to be him.

Lavender, Artemisia of Tunis, Chamomile, Geranium of Morocco, Cypriol Nagarmotha, Saffron, Agarwood, Amber, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, Patchouli, Vanilla, Lily-of-the-Valley, Orange, Cedar
Yours Deeply, MariaL.
Pain & pleasure, faith & fear
The sense of pained profound love. Contrasting feelings like pain and pleasure, faith and fear. Sweetness and bitterness, warmth and danger, softness and extreme loneliness. A love similar to a religious experience full of devotion and suffering. Love as an addiction. Sometimes an impossible love, maybe an unrequited love. This troubled woman in love is very attractive as she displays all her doubts and vulnerability; she wears it on her skin. In her fragility lies devotion and enormous strength. We wish to be him, but we may not wish to be her, her desire however is irresistible.

UNTIL DEATH DO US PART
I stem from the basin of earth so vibrant with life, to the earth I will return. I emerge from the abyssal sky glist’ning day and night, to the sky I will return. From those flower beds we rise infinitely, we meet and we rejoin. It is here, I befall within your hands, we are here to see.
After the theme of LOVE I have been inspired by another huge common universal emotion: DEATH. Our birth knows no fear, we don’t know where we begun, we are born free and innocent. When death appears we are filled with fear for the unknown, for loss, for things that lay beyond our human awareness. What if we would fear death less, would life be more fully embraced as well? The universe is based on cycles, seasons, life and death. There is no life without death.
We humans have defined our universe into two elements: the earth and the sky. Our being we define into two parts too, our body and our soul. Our body being of organic matter is composed, thus born and nurtured from the earth, as well as it will return there in order to decompose. Our soul doesn’t know a physical form thus comes from and returns to the sky. I have created two perfumes – in collaboration with perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri – to capture these two elements so richly brimmed with all that life and the universe offers: The earth that nurtures life, and the sky that embodies all we cannot hold in our hands, the spiritual.
